Walk in Interview for JRF (Junior Research Fellow)

Interested candidates may attend the online/offline/blended mode interview (considering the existing limitations and movement restrictions due to COVID-19) to be held on 26.03.2021 at 11.00 am in the department of Horticulture, Aromatic and Medicinal Plants, Mizoram University, Aizawl- 796 004 for one post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a period of 3 years under Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt. of India sponsored research project “Network Project for Establishment of disease free elite Khasi mandarin and Sweet Orange genetic stocks through shoot tip grafting (STG) and mass production of quality planting material for Northeastern states of India” under DBT’s NER Citrus Programme.

Research Position and Fellowships

Fellowship @ ₹ 31,000/- +8% HRA for the
1
st and 2nd Year and Rs 35,000/- +8% HRA for the 3rd Year (SRF) 1st Class Post Graduate in
Horticulture/Agriculture/Plant Pathology/
Botany/Biotechnology/ Agricultural
Biotechnology with UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET or
GATE Candidates with experience of shoot tip grafting (STG) will be given preference

An advanced copy of the signed application with bio-data, contact details and supporting documents either soft copies or hard copies must reach to Dr. Tridip Kr Hazarika, Principal Investigator, (Email: tridip28@gmail.com) on or before 5.00 pm of 25.03.2021. The candidate may bring original as well as attested copies of supporting documents at the time of interview.

The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.

No TA/DA will be provided for candidates for appearing for the interview
