Advertisement for JRF in CPRI Funded Research Project

Applications are invited from the interested candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (1 no) in the following research project funded by Central Power Research Institute (CPRI), Bangalore undertaken in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Mizoram University.
Title of the Project: Design and Development of FPGA based Brush-less Doubly Fed Reluctance Generator based Wind Energy Conversion System.
Eligibility: ME/MTech in Electrical Engineering/Power Electronics and Drives/Power and Energy Systems Engineering/Electrical and Electronics Engineering (or equivalent) with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
Number of Post: One (1)
Desirable: Candidates having GATE (any time in the recent past) and having appropriate knowledge of FPGA, experimentation/Hardware Implementation, MATLAB Simulation, scientific writing, etc., will be given preference in selection.
Age Limit: Preferably below 30 years as on the date of interview.
Fellowship: ₹ 31,000 (Rupees Thirty One Thousand) + HRA(9%) per month.
Duration: The appointment of HRF will be for a period of two (2) years or till the submission of the project whichever is earlier. The appointment may be terminated any point of time depending on the performance.

1. Only Indian nationals are eligible to appear for the interview.
2. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the duration of the project.
3. All the original certificate will be produced for verification whenever asked for.
4. No TA/DA will be given for the interview.
