Qualification requirements for these posts are mentioned below.
- Master’s Degree in Economics from an Indian University or equivalent from an accredited foreign University.
- At least 55% in Master degree in the relevant subject and at least 60% in at least two preceding examinations for the UR category and at least 50% in Master degree in the relevant subject and at least 55% in at least two preceding studies for SC category.
- National Eligibility Test (NET) in Economics.
- Candidates, who have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the provisions is exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET.
Qualification relaxation shall apply to the SC/ST/OBC/physically challenged candidates per the University/ GOI rules.
