Qualification Details:

NISG is an accredited organization for conducting Government Enterprise Architecture using IndEA and TOGAF® Standard” training program by The Open Group.
a. Name of the Post: Consultant-Technology Management
b. Job Objective: The objective of this job is to assist the State Government on technological issues related to core infrastructure, MMPs and other e – governance projects.
c. Technology Management
1. In coordination with the Technology Division at NeGD, assist the State Government in implementing e-Gov standards for application, designing technology architecture, database design, development, and infrastructure deployment.
2. To assist the State departments in technology selection, hand holding department staff from requirements to implementation.
3. To ensure that individual project level initiatives are interoperable, standardized, scalable and secure across various areas of software, hardware, and infrastructure
4. To analyse the existing/ proposed projects in regard to strategic control, cyber-security, disaster recovery and business continuity
5. To ensure implementation of NeGD / MeitY’s projects namely UMANG, Digital-Locker, NCoG, RAS, Digital Payments etc. and other core projects like Aadhaar, NKN, CSC, SWAN etc.
6. To work with MeitY / NeGD in embracing emerging technologies / areas like AI, Blockchain, IoT, Big Data, Data Analytics, Augmented and Virtual reality etc. for the State projects and to build capability in the State in these areas
7. To conduct technical appraisal of the various project reports received from the State Departments and technical evaluation of various proposals received from bidders.
8. To study trends on projects run on PPP mode, gaps /challenges / learning’s etc.
d. Miscellaneous
1. Provide support to all the Departments in the implementation of IT projects in the State related to various projects under Digital India.
2. Ensure that the requirements of State departments in matters like preparation of EoI / RFP/ Contracts / PPP and other related matters are suitably addressed.
3. Support the State Government in the roll out of awareness and communication efforts as part of the NeGP
4. Assignment of any other State task from time to time by State IT Secretary / Head of Nodal Agency / Head SeMT
e. Graduation: BE / B Tech / MCA in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Engineering
f. Desired Skills & Experience
1. 4+ years’ experience in relevant fields.
2. Experience in IT Solution, project deployment, managing Software Development, Wide systems integration / implementation projects. in government set up
3. Hands-on experience of Microsoft Technologies such as VB.NET, C#.NET, ADO.NET, ASP.NET, MVC, API using MySQL / Oracle / SQL Server in backend
4. Experience of designing and technical architecting of software applications of eGovernance Projects in varied domains.
5. Knowledge of development of integrated web, mobile and GIS application.
6. Enterprise Mobility, Mapping Solutions & Field workforce automation.
7. Data Analytics & Decision Support Systems (MIS & GIS Based)
